AGO is a premium television series rooted in the history of Valencia and shaped for international audiences. The project brings together historical research, political ambition, and the scale of a cinematic drama.
Created by German historian and researcher Markus L. Stern, AGO explores the life of Jaume I, the medieval king whose campaigns reshaped Mallorca, Valencia, and the Balearic Islands. The series looks beyond conquest to the cultural and political forces that formed a complex Mediterranean world.
Sea Camel Entertainment is developing the project with producer Jesus Sans and director Javier Quintas, whose credits include the international phenomenon Money Heist. The creative approach is grounded in Valencia while designed from the beginning for international collaboration.
The first season is conceived as a focused six episode drama. Production development includes locations across the Valencian Community and a visual language that treats the landscape, architecture, and history as active parts of the story.
AGO remains in development. Sea Camel is building the project toward a finished, market ready production with the creative and production foundations required for long form international television.
